Another Smash Summit, another victory for Adam "Armada" Lindgren. In a mirror rematch from the last Smash Summit, he took on Juan "Hungrybox" Debiedma in the grand finals; but this time around, Armada won without dropping a single set. With the win, Armada now has three Smash Summit titles. It's safe to say the Swedish Sniper is back in full force.

The road looked straightforward for him as he navigated the winner's bracket. He swept Edgard "n0ne" Sheleby and Justin "Plup" McGrath in three games each before taking on Hungrybox. Both players recently competed at the Canada Cup, where they split sets, but Armada came out swinging and defeated his rival convincingly in three consecutive games to advance into the winner's finals. Meanwhile, Jason "Mew2King" Zimmerman pulled off an upset over Joseph "Mango" Marquez to advance into winner's finals on the other side of the bracket. Mew2King had glimmers of brilliance, but Armada's consistency carried him to victory.

Mango carried some momentum, but Hungrybox put that to an end in loser's semis. Mango started with an early 2-1 set lead, but Hungrybox slowed the pace of the game and tilted his opponent into playing recklessly. By Game 5, Hungrybox had complete control of the set. After the win over Mango, Hbox took on Mew2king in the loser's finals and won in three games.

The grand finals set ended up much closer. Hungrybox won Game 1 to earn the stage counterpick advantage as they traded the next three games. With the set tied 2-2, Armada's all-around game-plan was just too much for Hungrybox to handle, as he clutched the final game with an impressive up-smash read to kill Hungrybox's last stock.
