Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Chris Archer made a new friend before Thursday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
A young Rays fan named Savanna wrote Archer a note saying he's the reason she wants to be a pitcher. Archer talked with Savanna before the game and signed a baseball for her.
Archer thanked Savanna for her kind words and gave a shout out to her softball team, ending the post with "#BFF #ladyoutlawssoftball."
