Sources: Magic's Okeke has knee procedure, out at least a month

Orlando Magic forward Chuma Okeke underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee Monday and is expected to be out at least a month, sources told ESPN.

Okeke, who sources say will be reevaluated in four weeks, had a chondroplasty, which is a procedure designed to repair and reshape damaged cartilage in a joint. He has been sidelined the past 14 games with the injury.

The 24-year-old has played in 18 games this season -- including seven starts -- and averaged 5.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 21.8 minutes a game.

Okeke was the No. 16 pick in the 2019 NBA draft out of Auburn. In two-plus seasons, he has started 46 games and averaged 7.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals.
