DALLAS -- Mavericks star Luka Doncic, who had been listed as questionable, will play in Saturday afternoon's Game 3 against the Oklahoma City Thunder despite a right knee sprain and left ankle soreness, coach Jason Kidd said.

Doncic, who has been playing on the sprained knee since suffering that injury in Game 3 of Dallas' first-round series against the LA Clippers, hobbled and grabbed his left ankle after getting his feet tangled with Thunder reserve guard Cason Wallace while pushing the ball up the floor early in the fourth quarter of Thursday's Game 2.

Doncic remained in the game, hitting a step-back 3-pointer on the Mavericks' next possession, and finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in the series-tying 119-110 win.

"He just stepped on my foot, but nothing serious," Doncic said postgame. "I know he didn't do it on purpose, so nothing serious. We just thought it was a foul. Other people would get a foul call on that one."

Doncic, the NBA's regular-season scoring leader, is averaging 28.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game during the playoffs.
