The Monday Night Raw the night after WrestleMania has gotten so infamous that they produced an entire "WWE24" special on the WWE Network about it. With so many international travelers to WrestleMania week, the heavy European influence of the crowd tends to give the show a soccer-stadium vibe.
Some of the best moments (and admittedly some of the worst) are thanks to the chants that echo throughout the arena, and Monday's edition was no different. You might have heard some, or most of them at least, from home, but we compiled some of the best chants of the night and offer some context for those who might not have fully heard them or don't understand the context.
"Un-der-take-r"
The opening moments of the show provided one of the most heartfelt and surreal moments you're ever likely to see at a WWE show. For more than three minutes of live TV, the camera panned around the arena as fans paid tribute to The Undertaker by calling his name out over and over again.
"Boooooo"; "Roman sucks"; "Go away"; etc. (the "Roman Reigns" category)
When it comes to sheer endurance, this crowd is to be commended. After the touching tribute to The Undertaker the chants quickly transitioned to target the man who defeated the "dead man" in the main event of WrestleMania 33. The chants and boos only got louder as Reigns entered, and for 10 minutes the crowd didn't let him speak; every time he lifted the microphone to his mouth, the crowd booed loudly enough to force him to drop it back down.
Reigns finally spoke, and said only five words. "This is my yard now." He dropped the mic, walked back, and capped a surreal 13 minutes to open up Monday Night Raw.
"Doo-doo-doo -- Sheamus and Cesaro"
The biggest winners of the night were likely Sheamus and Cesaro, who faced off with Big Cass and Enzo Amore for the right to become No. 1 contenders to the Raw tag team championships. Early on in the match, fans starting a rhythmic chant celebrating the team, and it didn't stop for the rest of the match. It got particularly strong when Cesaro and then Sheamus encouraged the chants with arm motions and a post-match play-along, and then carried on well into the night even as fans poured out of Orlando's Amway Center.
"You Suck"
The familiar notes of "Medal" rang out on Monday Night Raw for the first time in over 11 years, as Kurt Angle entered the arena and accepted the position as the new Raw general manager. The crowd loudly belted out "You Suck" along with the beats of the song, but it's moved well past any kind of negative connotations despite the phrase itself; Angle, with a big smile on his face, conducted the crowd throughout, and expect more of the same in the coming weeks and months.
"Delete"; "Brother Nero"; "Ob-so-lete"; "Seven Deities", etc. (the "Broken Matt Hardy" category)
As expected, the chants for The Hardy Boyz included all of the standard go-tos that followed them from their previous run. While Jeff has seemingly returned to his former WWE character entirely, Matt has retained at least small elements of his "broken" character, albeit in a toned-down way aside from the streak that still runs through his hair. The future is unclear, but fans went so far as to plead as they chanted "please don't fix him" at one point in the evening.
"Top guys"
The debut of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, collectively known as The Revival, was a long time coming but no less impressive because of how long it took. They went toe-to-toe with The New Day, and the crowd offered their support for the bad guys throughout the match. With the crowd being so familiar with the current NXT product, it was inevitable that their popular nickname and catchphrase would be a go-to. It's certainly a long ways away from the dismissive, "Which one's Dash? Which one's Dawson" chants that they were hit with a couple of years ago.
"NXT"
Speaking of NXT, Monday's main event was received by a boisterous chant early in the match recognizing an interesting moment featuring four former NXT champions doing battle in the ring.

Oh we oh we oh we oh we, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe
Because Pitbull's (and Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis') song "Greenlight" was so engrained in the heads of WWE fans around the world (and especially those in attendance), it was only right that the crowd work the chorus of the song into a chant as well. They chose to recognize Samoa Joe, likely for ease and for the fit of his name, but this one got surprisingly loud late in the night.
Two... sweet
Fans love to call it out after the referee counts to two but doesn't make it to three. Everyone from The Kliq of yesteryear to the Bullet Club and its many iterations loves the phrase "too sweet" and the accompanying hand gesture. Fitting, then, that after every two-count on this evening, the crowd added a high-pitched "sweet" on the end for good measure.
"Beachball-mania"
It was a moment, and it was recognized by Chris Jericho to great effect. It was a moment in time that captured the crowd's attention. Ideally, it wouldn't have happened during an intense match between Neville and Mustafa Ali, but these things happen. Love them or hate them, there's no denying that this crowd had fun.
