95' Real Madrid started like a house on fire - and deservedly took the lead through Owen's first goal in the white shirt. However, Kiev are a good side and were never out of the game. Rincorn and Kleber spurned good chances, and Casillas was in good form to deny several chances. Ronaldo and Solari nearly finished the match off, but it remained one nil right 'till the end. Not the greatest of performances, but a vital win for Real all the same. |
