Davies denies Orient
Leyton Orient and Barnsley shared the spoils at Brisbane Road although the visitors were indebted to their goalkeeper Adam Davies from a string of superlative saves that earned the 0-0 draw.Orient, involved in a scrap to avoid relegation, enjoyed the better of the first half and both Chris Dagnall and Darius Henderson went close to opening the scoring. The best chance of a lively first half fell to midfielder Jobi McAnuff whose powerful drive was turned around the post by Tykes keeper Davies.Barnsley, who started the match having won six games in succession that had moved them into a play-off position, were left frustrated by a positive home side and the O's nearly broke the deadlock just after the break but Ryan Hedges' close-range effort was saved by Davies.Barnsley's best chance came from Conor Hourihane whose 20-yard free-kick produced a save at full stretch form Orient keeper Alex Cisak. The visitors played out the four added minutes with 10-men when substitute Milan Lalkovic was sent off for a two-footed tackle on Nathan Clarke.
