Rovers climb off the bottom

Tranmere moved off the bottom of League Two after Armand Gnanduillet's double earned a 2-2 draw at AFC Wimbledon. The French forward, on loan from Chesterfield, twice pegged back the Dons but Tranmere are still winless since August and remain in the relegation places.Jack Smith, a summer signing from Millwall, gave Wimbledon the lead with a clever chip after a failed one-two with Sean Rigg down the left. The ball rebounded Smith's way and the defender deftly lifted the ball over goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams to make it 1-0 in the 16th minute.Four minutes later Gnanduillet grabbed the equaliser for Tranmere with a 25-yard effort which crept in at James Shea's near post. The Dons regained their lead a minute before the break when Barry Fuller crossed from the right for Adebayo Akinfenwa to head in his eighth goal in nine games. But Gnanduillet had the final say in the 65th minute with a powerful header from Max Power's corner which leaves Rovers unbeaten under boss Micky Adams.
