Dons receive first Ade

AFC Wimbledon picked up their first win of 2015 as substitute Ade Azeez's second-half strike settled a 2-1 victory over Accrington. The Dons went close to taking the lead after just eight minutes as Dannie Bulman's fierce drive struck a post.Accrington had their first chance on 20 minutes when Kal Naismith drifted in from the left and unleashed a rasping shot just over. The deadlock was eventually broken after 38 minutes thanks to Sean Rigg, who buried a volley into an unguarded net after Matt Macey had parried Craig Tanner's effort. And Tanner almost doubled the lead two minutes later, forcing Macey into a good stop low down. The hosts continued to look the more likely after half-time but George Francomb fluffed his lines in front of goal before Adebayo Akinfenwa had a volley blocked.Accrington went inches away from an equaliser soon after as James Shea brilliantly tipped over Anthony Barry's long-range effort. However the lively Azeez sealed the three points after lifting the ball over an onrushing Macey, before Adam Buxton struck a consolation after a goalmouth scramble.
