OL Lyonnes beat Wolfsburg to set up Arsenal semifinal

Record eight-time winners OL Lyonnes will face Arsenal in the last four after extra-time goals from Melcie Dumornay, Damaris Egurrola and Tabitha Chawinga secured a 4-1 aggregate win against Wolfsburg.

Trailing 1-0 from the first leg in Germany, Lyonnes levelled the tie through United States international Lily Yohannes' first-half effort, and midfielders Dumornay and Egurrola struck within the space of five minutes at the end of the first period of extra time.

Malawi forward Tabitha Chawinga added Lyonnes' fourth in the closing stages of the second period.

It was the 13th meeting between Lyonnes and Wolfsburg in the Women's Champions League, a new record for the most played fixture.

Wolfsburg won the first meeting -- the 2013 final -- but Lyonnes have had the best of the rivalry since then. They won three finals against the German club: in 2016, 2018 and 2020.
