Clyde shot down by Gunn strike
Elgin edged out Clyde 1-0 courtesy of Craig Gunn's second goal of the season. The 27-year-old striker grabbed the winner at home to East Fife a fortnight ago and repeated the trick today against Barry Ferguson's men.Eager to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to East Stirling, Elgin dominated from the start with Gunn and his fellow striker Shane Sutherland impressing.Having had several efforts saved by Jamie Barclay, Gunn got what proved to be the decisive goal on 28 minutes, converting Daniel Moore's cross.Trialist Marvin Andrews, a former SPL winner and team-mate of Ferguson's at Rangers, impressed at centre back.He kept the visitors at bay with a number of vital blocks and clearances as Elgin held out against some late pressure.
