Moffat is spot on for Pars
Michael Moffat's late penalty helped Dunfermline make it three wins in a row as they beat 10-man Stenhousemuir 2-0 at East End Park. Gozie Ugwu thought he had put the home side into the lead before his shot was well blocked by Stewart Greacen. It was the best chance of a goalless first half. The Pars took the lead after 54 minutes when Ryan Thomson headed home Josh Falkingham's cross following increased pressure from the home side. Josh Watt missed a good chance to put the visitors level, firing a great opportunity over the crossbar and Colin McMenamin saw red after receiving a second booking with just over 20 minutes left on the clock. Cieran Summers fouled Ryan Williamson in the box in the 83rd minute and Moffat then stepped up to slot the spot-kick into the bottom corner and move Dunfermline joint-top of the Scottish League One table.
