Watt at the double for Clyde
Kevin Watt scored twice as Clyde recorded a first home league win of the season with a 2-1 success over Elgin. The visitors remain rooted to the bottom of the Scottish League Two table after a late comeback fell short.Watt opened the scoring just before the half-hour mark when he finished from six yards after being put through by Scott Durie. At the other end Shane Sutherland saw his effort to draw level saved by Alan Martin.Watt doubled the lead after an hour when he took advantage a mix up in the Elgin defence to slot home from close range.Mark Nicolson got a goal back five minutes later, scoring from the rebound after Sutherland had again been foiled by Martin. But in a tense finale, Nicolson missed two further chances to earn his side a point.
