2014/2015 Scottish Division Three
- Brian McQueen - 7' OG
Stirling edge past Clyde
East Stirling claimed a much-needed three points as they beat play-off hopefuls Clyde 1-0 in Scottish League Two.Defender Brian McQueen inadvertently headed the ball into his own net with just six minutes on the clock to hand the visitors a shock early lead. Midfielder David Greenhill flashed a shot over the bar a few minutes later for East Stirling before Euan Smith should have done better with a similar effort at the other end.Defender Craig Halkett spurned a good chance after he found himself unmarked inside the penalty area but he could not direct Andy Gibson's floated corner on target.Gibson then forced visiting goalkeeper Richard Barnard into a brilliant save late on but Stirling held firm to halt a four-game losing streak.
