Murray trebles inspires Arbroath

Simon Murray grabbed a hat-trick as Arbroath ended Boness United's cup dream with an emphatic 5-0 win.The East Region Junior side held out for 28 minutes before Murray's close-range finish broke the deadlock.And the League Two leaders waited until the 68th minute to grab four goals in just eight minutes to add some gloss to the scoreline.First Paul McManus netted from six yards out and seconds later Murray grabbed his second after being teed up by Kevin Nicoll.Murray then grabbed his third of the afternoon in the 75th minute before McManus found the bottom corner a minute later for his second.The part-timers had a chance to give the majority of the 1769 crowd something to cheer late on only for Stuart Hunter to head over.
