Cusack consigns Clyde to loss
Liam Cusack scored the only goal of the game as Albion held out for a 1-0 win over Clyde at the Broadwood Stadium.Cusack opened the scoring after just 14 minutes when he fired home a crisp strike from a tight angle. The hosts almost replied immediately but for a fine save from Neil Parry to keep out Euan Smith's stinging effort.Albion lost the influential Cusack to injury after the break but could have scored again had Scott Chaplain's strike not hit the foot of the post.Chaplain squandered a second chance moments later, this time being denied by goalkeeper Alan Martin, but Rovers ran out worthy winners in the end.
