Morton edge Warriors in thriller

Morton boosted their Scottish League One title hopes after coming from behind to beat Stenhousemuir 3-2 in a thrilling second half.A drab first period offered no sign of what was to come before the game burst into life with four goals in 13 minutes.The deadlock was broken five minutes after the interval when Colin McMenamin fired the home side in front after Grant Adam could only parry a shot but Morton produced the perfect response.Stefan McCluskey equalised two minutes later after being set up by his brother Jamie and the scorer then turned provider for Thomas O'Ware to fire Morton in front.Ross Caldwell doubled Morton's advantage in the 63rd minute on his debut when the striker, who has joined the club after being released by St Mirren, slotted home.Stenhousemuir set up a tense finish when McMenamin pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 88th minute after Sean Crighton handballed but the visitors deservedly held on.
