Dumbarton end losing run
Dumbarton ended a run of four straight defeats after earning a point in a six-goal thriller at Falkirk. The worst defence in the Scottish Championship let in another three goals to make it 18 conceded in five matches in January but they did enough at the other end to at least stop the rot.Dumbarton took the lead in the 19th minute when the home side failed to deal with Mitchel Megginson's cross and Scott Taggart pounced from close range. They were in front for just two minutes before Craig Sibbald's low shot levelled matters and Falkirk were ahead in the 36th minute through Luke Leahy's shot which went in off the crossbar.Dumbarton turned the game on its head again with two goals in the space of eight second-half minutes as Falkirk failed to adequately deal with a free-kick and then a corner, with Darren Petrie and Archie Campbell respectively taking advantage.Falkirk battled back though and grabbed a deserved equaliser in the 80th minute through David Smith's low shot.
