MacPhee spot on for Elgin
Archie MacPhee scored from the penalty spot and Daniel Moore hit a late second as Elgin beat 10-man Berwick 2-0.Rangers had to play for an hour a man down after Johnny Fairbairn was shown a straight red card in the 31st minute for bringing down Craig Gunn.Dennis Wyness had a chance to give Elgin the lead with a header but he was denied by a fine save from William Bald.The breakthrough came in the 69th minute when Devon Jacobs brought down Craig Thomson in the area and MacPhee tucked in the penalty.Rangers almost equalised three minutes from time but Paul Willis headed Lee Currie's free-kick against the crossbar.Instead, Moore wrapped up the points in stoppage time when he slotted in Ceiran McLean's pass.
