Gilmour completes smash-and-grab
Ross Gilmour scored with East Stirling's only shot of the game as their smash-and-grab performance saw off Arbroath 1-0.The Red Lichties dominated the game at Gayfield Park, peppering their visitors' goal with over 20 shots, but it was Gilmour's that mattered as he shot home from close range just after the hour-mark.It was the Shire's only foray into their hosts' area as Arbroath were dominant throughout.Paul McManus, Bobby Linn and Simon Murray all had good opportunities in the first half but could not find the target while Kieran Stewart and Adam Hunter were both wasteful after the break as the Shire somehow survived. That allowed them to snatch the win - their third in four games - in the 64th minute when Gilmour converted David Greenhill's cross.
