Reid in right place
Jamie Reid's second-half strike secured Elgin a 2-0 win at Clyde, boosting their play-off hopes in the process. The visitors took an early lead when Brian Cameron found space to finish neatly inside the box. Clyde pressed for an equaliser as Jamie Pollock and Scott McManus wasted good opportunities, while keeper Alan Martin was on hand to prevent Archie MacPhee and Craig Gunn from doubling City's lead.Keigan Parker forced Elgin's Ross Laidlaw into a good save before the break, and Reid doubled City's lead after the hour-mark. Reid, on loan from Dundee United, scored his first goal for the club on his eighth appearance as he came inside from the left and rifled his shot past Martin.
