Kevin Nisbet scored the only goal of the game as East Stirling recorded a 1-0 victory over Arbroath.The Shire broke the deadlock in the 25th minute when Nisbet's long-range strike found the back of Arbroath shot-stopper Marc McCallum's net.The hosts came close to doubling their lead 11 minutes before the break when Neil McCabe headed the ball against the crossbar, but they were unable to increase their advantage before half-time.East Stirling continued to attack in the second half, and had chances to increase their lead, but had to settle for a 1-0 victory over third-placed Arbroath.
