McManus keeps Clyde in the hunt

Clyde kept themselves in the League Two play-off race with a 1-0 win against East Fife at Broadwood.Scott McManus headed the only goal of the game midway through the second half to move the Bully Wee within four points of their opponents, who despite the defeat still occupy fourth spot.Allan Walker went close early on for the Fifers but the midfielder spurned a golden chance to give his team the lead in the 32nd minute when his penalty was saved by Alan Martin - the goalkeeper making amends for conceding the spot-kick after fouling Nathan Austin.Chances were rare after that. Jamie Pollock fired over the crossbar before McManus struck from Steven McDougall's cross.Austin had a late chance to equalise but his header went over the crossbar.
