Stalemate at Shielfield Park

Berwick and Clyde played out a 0-0 draw at Shielfield Park. The result leaves both sides in the same league position than at the start of the day, with Clyde in eighth and Berwick still in ninth in the League Two table. The hosts had the better of the first half, with Andrew Russell forcing a save from Alan Martin with a point-blank header after a good cross by Lee Currie. After the break Clyde game close to opening the scoring when David Marsh smacked the ball against the crossbar before the ball bounced on the line and was eventually cleared.Substitute David Gold then latched on to a ball over the top of the Clyde defence and while he did well to bring the ball under his control, he could only hit a tame effort on goal.
