Teenager Aaron Collins grabs winner for Newport at York

Warren Feeney tasted victory during his first game as Newport County manager with a 1-0 win at bottom-of-the-table York.Eighteen-year-old Aaron Collins netted for the first time since September 1 on eight minutes to give County all three points in the first match since John Sheridan's departure for Oldham. The visitors forged in front with the first shot of the match as Collins found Scott Flinders' bottom-right corner from 20 yards after riding weak challenges from Kenny McEvoy and Luke Summerfield.Medy Elito also hit a post for Newport, while Dave Winfield went close with three first-half headers for York - the last cleared off the line by Exiles top scorer Scott Boden. The hosts' Vadaine Oliver also headed an excellent chance wide from Femi Ilesanmi's left-wing cross.On-loan Chelsea goalkeeper Mitchell Beeney went on to deny Oliver with a terrific save after the York striker had met Summerfield's left-wing cross with his head four yards from goal. But York mustered very little else in their quest for an equaliser, leaving Jackie McNamara's men still searching for their first points in 2016.
