Adam Armstrong scores twice to earn Coventry a comeback win
Coventry produced a stunning second-half comeback to win 3-2 from being two goals down at the break at home to Peterborough. The away side were easily the best side in the first period and came close to scoring in the 12th minute when Jermaine Anderson crossed for Conor Washington but he shot wide. They reversed roles in the 14th minute as Washington turned supplier and Anderson fired low into the net to put Peterborough ahead.Coventry had their best spell of the first half, which included Adam Armstrong hitting a post, before Erhun Oztumer hit a stunning second for Posh in the 36th minute from long range. The home side were on the front foot from the off in the second half and pulled a goal back when John Fleck's 55th-minute effort came back off the post and Romain Vincelot acrobatically finished from 10 yards.City drew level in the 80th minute when Jacob Murphy produced a scintillating run before setting up Armstrong to make it 2-2.And Murphy rolled the ball into the on-loan striker in the 87th minute and he finished coolly to win it for Coventry and claim his 10th of the season.
