Bradley Dack on target again as Gillingham hit back to see off Blackpool
Bradley Dack's fifth league goal of the season saw table-toppers Gillingham beat struggling Blackpool 2-1 at the Priestfield Stadium. The hosts took the lead through Doug Loft's first goal of the season but Blackpool pulled level shortly after half-time as Ryan Jackson turned the ball into his own net.The game looked to be heading for a draw but with 10 minutes remaining Dack struck to hand Gillingham - who remain unbeaten this season - all three points. The hosts found their rhythm early on and in the 17th minute a driven free-kick from Luke Norris was palmed into Loft's path for the midfielder to tap home.Norris then flashed a drive wide after good work from Dack and the home side looked the more likely to score before the break, almost doubling their lead from another Norris free-kick but his effort cannoned off the crossbar from 30 yards.Blackpool started the second half much brighter and where level after 51 minutes as the Gills defence hesitated and a cross from Brad Potts came off Jackson and into the net.The game then became stretched and after efforts at both ends for Dack and Potts, the former settled the game with a side-footed strike.
