- Grant Anderson - 79'
Raith leave it late to snatch win
Grant Anderson scored just one minute after stepping off the bench as high-flying Raith recorded a 1-0 victory over Alloa. The hosts had a number of chances to break the deadlock in the first period, but they were unable to find a way past Raith goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert. Both sides created further opportunities in the second half, but it was Raith who took the lead thanks to Anderson's 79th-minute strike.Having come on to replace James Craigen just a minute earlier, Anderson was on hand to rifle in the rebound after Andy McNeil had kept out Mitch Megginson's effort. And Rovers, who sit second in the table, held on to claim all three points.
