The Loons are given a dose of the Blues by plucky Stranraer
Stranraer pulled themselves out of Ladbrokes League One's bottom two with an inspirational 2-1 win at third-placed Forfar. The Blues tried to seize the three points from the outset, and Craig Smith and Michael Travis were both denied by the woodwork.Mark McGuigan did soon put the ball in the net for the visitors, though, using his strength to hold off his marker and execute a tidy finish past Scott Gallacher.Brian Reid's men doubled their lead after the break. Thomas O'Brien fouled the lively McGuigan in the box and Christopher Aitken converted the penalty.Michael Travis pulled one back when he converted a Danny Denholm cross, but it proved only a consolation.
