Elgin take the points at East Fife

Elgin's 2-0 win at East Fife reflected a harsh score for the home side. The Fifers made all the running in the first half, but strong defending from Jim Weir's men kept them at bay. Kyle Wilkie, Steven Campbell, Jason Kerr and Ross Brown all had shots without success. It was typical of East Fife's recent luck that they should dominate and then find themselves behind shortly after the resumption. Archie MacPhee ventured forward and passed to Thomas Reilly to control and dispatch high past Ryan Goodfellow.Elgin built on their lead and Kyle MacLeod added a second three minutes from time from a long pass by Marc McKenzie.
