Queen's Park up to second after win
Queen's Park moved up to second place in Scottish League Two, leapfrogging opponents Clyde with a 1-0 win at Broadwood. The Bully Wee, on the back of five wins from six, made the early running, but Queen's Park hit the front when Gavin Mitchell converted at the back post from a pinpoint pass by Sean Burns.Scott Linton nearly levelled for the hosts as he sent a header from close range inches wide.Linton also threatened after the break, and only a great save from Willie Muir denied him the equaliser. The visitors were worth their slender victory though. Joe Bradley set up substitute Ryan Hynes on the break, but the striker hit just wide.
