East Stirling off bottom with win
East Stirling were lifted off the foot of the League Two table after recording a 3-1 win at home to Montrose.The Shire continued their recent revival with a third win in five games as goals from Jordan Cairnie, Andy Kay and David McKenna secured a comfortable victory.Cairnie opened the scoring for the home side after Ross Salmon failed to claim a cross, leaving the defender with a clear header after 11 minutes.The lead was doubled in the first minute after the break, with Kay finding the bottom corner following Ross Gilmour's pass.Kris Faulds found McKenna with a superb pass shortly before the hour mark, and the striker notched his fourth league goal of the season, before Gary Fraser added a late consolation.
