Kyle MacLeod helps Elgin beat Stirling
Elgin had to work hard to see off a spirited Stirling 1-0, to continue their good start at Borough Briggs. The away side could claim to have won a battle of sorts in keeping the scoring supremo Craig Gunn quiet, but it was not enough. The Black and Whites found their solitary strike after 12 minutes, Kyle MacLeod rifling in from close range after a good pass by Daniel Moore.Stirling lacked discipline in the first half and picked up four bookings as they struggled to keep up with Jim Weir's men. They weathered the storm and Sean Dickson had a half chance, but the Black and Whites merited their victory overall.
