Perth Glory rise into top six after seeing off Newcastle Jets

Perth Glory moved into the A-League top six after a comfortable home win over 10-man Newcastle Jets on Monday.

Glory went in front thanks to Andy Keogh, whose neat header put them on their way shortly before half-time.

Gyorgy Sandor added the second less than a minute into the second half, and Newcastle's slim hopes were dashed when Daniel Mullen was sent off for two bookable offences.

Keogh struck after Diego Castro fed Aryn Williams, who whipped in a cross for the striker to head past Mark Birighitti.

Then Castro benefited from a Steven Ugarkovic mistake to feed Sandor, who rolled home the clinching goal.
