A-League leaders Western Sydney Wanderers clinched a late point in a 2-2 draw at Perth Glory as their winning streak came to an end.

Wanderers went into Saturday's game having won their previous seven games, but they could not make it eight on the spin in Perth.

Diego Castro gave the hosts the lead with a second-minute penalty only for Wanderers to hit back before half-time through Brendon Santalab.

Mitchell Oxborrow then scored a tremendous free kick on the hour mark to restore the Glory's advantage, but Mitchell Nichols scored to salvage a draw.

The result sees Wanderers top of the table with a three-point lead, while the Glory are eighth in the 10-team standings.
