Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar play out goalless draw
The match between A-League leading Sydney FC and the Brisbane Roar settled little in a scoreless draw on Friday.
First-placed hosts Sydney stayed one point ahead of the Roar.
Shane Smeltz provided one of the game's only good scoring chances when the Sydney striker spun the ball towards the far post, only for Brisbane goalkeeper Jamie Young to dive to his right for a first-half save.
On Thursday, Melbourne City opened the fifth round with a 4-2 win over Adelaide United, leaving Adelaide the only team without a win this season.
