Antonio German earns point for Kerala Blasters against Mumbai City

Antonio German netted a late equaliser for bottom-placed Kerala Blasters FC as they secured a 1-1 draw against Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League.

Mumbai City opened the scoring in the 25th minute as Juan Aguilera Nunez found the back of the net after the away side had failed to deal with a Sony Norde corner.

But while Kerala Blasters did create chances in the second half, it looked as if Mumbai City had done enough to claim all three points.

However, German struck in the 88th minute, firing in a rebound after Subash Singh's wayward clearance had struck the post, to salvage a draw for his side.

The result keeps Kerala Blasters at the bottom of the table on 12 points, with Mumbai City one place and one point above them in seventh.
