Shakhtar Donetsk turn on the style to see off Schalke
Shakhtar Donetsk won 3-0 at Schalke to secure their place in the last 16 of the Europa League.
With the tie goalless following the first leg in Lviv, Schalke almost took an early lead when Johannes Geis' free-kick hit the post.
Shakhtar went ahead on 27 minutes after Brazilian winger Marlos turned the ball inside the far post with a backheel after a quick break down the left.
Schalke substitute Franco Di Santo went close before Shakhtar wrapped things up on 63 minutes as Facundo Ferreyra tapped in a centre from Brazil winger Taison, and Viktor Kovalenko's angled drive gave the Ukrainians a third with 13 minutes left.
