Hereford earn well-deserved replay at Fleetwood

Southern Premier Division side Hereford proved the magic of the FA Cup is still alive as a 1-1 draw at League One Fleetwood ensured they are still in the hat for the third round draw.
A strong and spirited performance by the Bulls saw them secure a replay on a frustrating afternoon for Uwe Rosler's men and the Highbury faithful at their home fortress, though it could have been a lot worse for Town.
There are 89 places between the two sides but you could not tell as Hereford took the lead in the 23rd minute to send their 977 fans into raptures.
Town failed to clear their lines and Calvin Dinsley, who had only got the nod to start half-an-hour before kick-off following a late injury to Rob Purdie, was the hero as he curled the ball past goalkeeper Chris Neal.
It looked like an upset could be on the cards as Fleetwood's Ash Hunter, Wes Burns and Kyle Dempsey all wasted good chances while Garyn Preen's deflected effort dropped onto the top of the net.
But fortune shone on Fleetwood as Lewie Coyle's cross from the right caught Hereford and Devante Cole off-guard as it bounced in off the striker's chest and past Martin Horsell.
The luck was with Town once again just before the break as Ash Eastham twice cleared John Mills' close-range efforts off the line after Billy Murphy's free-kick had caused chaos in the box.
Burns tried his best to ignite Fleetwood with a storming show on the right flank but it only looked like one team - the non-League visitors - would go on and win it.
Fleetwood forward Hunter rattled a post with a late effort but Hereford got their just rewards to take it to a replay.
