Stenhousemuir secured promotion to Ladbrokes League One after beating Peterhead 2-1 on aggregate despite losing the second leg of the play-off final 1-0 at Balmoor.Michael Dunlop's first-leg double on Wednesday proved the difference for the Warriors, with Russell McLean's second-leg winner for Peterhead ultimately in vain.Stenhousemuir defender Ross Meechan cleared Jordan Brown's effort off the line in the closing stages of a first half that was short on chances.Hosts Peterhead dragged themselves back into the tie after 54 minutes when McLean headed home William Gibson's cross.The hosts were reduced to nine men - David McCracken received a second yellow card in the 66th minute and Jack Leitch saw red in added time - as they failed to find an aggregate equaliser.
