Romania's Coman shocks England at U21 Euros
Substitute Florinel Coman won a penalty and scored the winner as Romania beat England 4-2 in dramatic fashion at the Under-21 European Championship on Friday in Cessenna, Italy.
England enjoyed the majority of possession and chances throughout the first half, but were left frustrated by a lack of finishing touch and some excellent saves from Romania keeper Ionut Radu.
Romania saw their fair share of chances at the other end of the pitch turned away by England shot-stopper Dean Henderson, with one goal ruled out for offside just before half-time as the teams settled for 0-0 at the break.

England were forced into a substitution just before the hour when Ryan Sessegnon pulled up with and injury and was replaced by Manchester City's Phil Foden, who scored a spectacular goal in their 2-1 loss against France on Tuesday.
A clumsy sliding challenge from England's Jonjoe Kenny on Coman gave Romania their chance from the spot, which George Puscas cooly converted to give his team the lead in the 75th minute.
However England, who had once again been on the front foot for most of the half, hit right back with Demarai Gray cutting inside from the left flank and curling a lovely shot around Radu to get his team back on level terms.
Ianis Hagi and Tammy Abraham traded rapid-fire goals to make it 2-2 before Henderson made a mess of a straightforward save from a long-distance Coman shot to give Romania all three points and first place in the group on six points after beating Croatia in their group opener.
Coman added a late stunner to put the icing on the cake of a spectacular day for the 21-year-old and his Romanian teammates, who take on France in their final group match.
Next up for England, who are all but out of the tournament following two losses, is a Group C finale against Croatia on June 24.
