Burnley, Norwich remain winless after ill-tempered Premier League draw
Norwich City picked up their first point of the Premier League season against Burnley after a bruising encounter at Turf Moor ended in a 0-0 draw on Saturday, with both teams yet to register a win this season.
The game was Sean Dyche's 400th in charge of Burnley but his side failed to find a breakthrough in a match where neither side showed much quality in the final third but had seven players booked as tempers flared.

Daniel Farke's Norwich, however, snapped a 16-game losing run in the top flight stretching back to the 2019-20 season but they stay rooted to the bottom of the standings. Burnley remain in the relegation zone in 18th with three points.
"A point at Turf Moor is always valuable," Farke told BBC. "To show resilience with compact defending, it is quite a good result.
"There were periods where we could have been better, but compliments to our young squad. It's always a big battle here, you cannot avoid the long balls and set pieces."
Burnley had a penalty appeal denied in the first half when Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul appeared to punch Matej Vydra while going up for an aerial duel but the referee waved it away.
"Our record of penalties for is horrendous, everyone knows that. It's very difficult it seems for us to get a penalty, we have to get absolute stonewallers where everyone in the stadium can see it," Dyche said.
"The maybes, we don't seem to get them so it is irrelevant what I think... I thought it was an indifferent performance (from referee Kevin Friend)."
Norwich, who have failed to score in all four away games this season, had two good chances in the second half through Mathias Normann, who first tested Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope with a free kick before he struck the crossbar minutes later.
Burnley had their best chance of the game when Johann Gudmundsson found an unmarked Dwight McNeil at the far post midway through the second half, but the winger knocked the ball wide.
Substitute Jay Rodriguez, who had replaced the injured Vydra, glanced a Gudmundsson cross off target with five minutes remaining while defender Matt Lowton also headed over as Burnley desperately searched for a winner.
