The Seattle Reign FC, led by a late goal from Veronica Latsko, managed a 1-1 draw against the Utah Royals at Lumen Field on Saturday. Ally Sentnor opened the scoring for the Royals with a right-footed shot in the 67th minute, but Latsko equalized for Seattle eight minutes later.
The first half saw both teams struggle to find their rhythm. Despite several attempts from both sides, including shots from Ryanne Brown and Sofia Huerta of Seattle and Brecken Mozingo of Utah, the half ended scoreless after 10 minutes of added time due to injuries.
Sentnor's goal came as she found space in the center of the box and fired into the top right corner past Claudia Dickey. Her effort was matched by Latsko's close-range finish following an assist from Jordyn Huitema.
