Adriana's brace powers Orlando Pride past Gotham FC

The Pride, led by Adriana's two goals, defeated NJ/NY Gotham FC 2-0 at Orlando's Inter&Co Stadium on Sunday.

Adriana opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a right-footed shot from the center of the box, assisted by Kylie Strom. Adriana doubled her tally in the 19th minute with another right-footed effort, this time from the right side of the box and assisted by Summer Yates.

Julie Doyle added a third goal for Orlando (13-5-0) in second-half stoppage time with a stunning strike from outside the box to seal an emphatic victory. Marta provided the assist for Doyle's goal.

Gotham (10-4-4) struggled to find their rhythm throughout and were unable to break down a resolute Orlando defense. Emily Sonnett and Tierna Davidson received yellow cards for fouls in the first half.
