The Pride started the season unbeaten through a league-record 23 games and became the first club since 2019 to win the NWSL Shield and championship in the same campaign.

Banda scored with a left-footed shot from the right side of the box, assisted by Angelina. Banda was named the game's MVP.

Orlando's defense held strong throughout the game, with goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse making five saves.
