Bradford's effort lifts ETSU past Fordham 82-77

NEW YORK -- Desonta Bradford scored 21 points, grabbed nine rebounds and distributed four assists and East Tennessee State beat Fordham 82-77 on Wednesday night.

Bradford made all four of his free throws and Kanayo Obi-Rapu made a pair -- all in the last five seconds -- to preserve the win. ETSU (4-3) led 33-28 at halftime and never trailed in the second half. Andre Edwards' 3 pointer with three minutes before halftime put the Bucs up for the rest of the contest.

ETSU's Bo Hodges scored 20 shooting 8 of 10 and Edwards added 11 points.

Will Tavares led Fordham (2-4) with 21 points, Tre Evans had 17 and missed just one of 10 free throws and Prokop Slanina was 6-of-8 shooting from the field for 16 points.

The Buccaneers, who've won three of four, dominated the glass with a 34-20 edge. Fordham lost for the third time in its last four games.
