Missouri State beats North Dakota State 71-58

FARGO, N.D. -- Alize Johnson scored 21 points, Reggie Scurry had 13 and Missouri State used a late run to get past North Dakota State 71-58 on Monday night.

The Bears (8-2) took the lead for good early in a 14-2 run capped by Scurry's layup to make it 63-52 with 4:20 left. They led by at least nine from there on their way to a sixth straight win.

The Bison (3-5) led for most of the first half until Missouri State closed on a 12-2 run to lead 37-32 at the break. NDSU was unable to regain the advantage except when A.J. Jacobson's free throws capped a 9-0 run for a brief lead at 50-49.

Jarrid Rhodes added 11 points for the Bears, who outshot the Bison from the field and 3-point range and had a 42-26 edge on the glass.

Paul Miller led the Bison with 16 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
