Castlin scores 22, leads Columbia past Princeton 85-60

NEW YORK -- Kyle Castlin scored 22 points in 25 minutes and made four 3-pointers -- both career highs -- and Columbia walloped Princeton 85-60 Saturday night, ending a three-game slide.

Columbia shot 51 percent (32 of 63) and was even better from behind the 3-point arc, making 58 percent (14 of 24). Castlin missed all of the 2016-17 season with a toe injury, and 10 games this season with an elbow injury.

Quinton Adlesh added 18 points, also with four 3-pointers, for Columbia (7-16, 4-6 Ivy League). Lukas Meisner had 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Mike Smith chipped in 14 points.

Princeton (11-14, 3-7), the Ivy's defending champion, owns a league-best 38-percent clip from 3-point range, but were held to 7 of 28 (25 percent) against the Lions. Devin Cannady and Myles Stephens scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, well under their averages of 17 and 14. They were a combined 8-of-22 shooting.

Amir Bell led the Tigers with 12 points and eight rebounds.
