Lehigh dominates Eastern University in 95-70 win
BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- James Karnik scored 15 points to lead six Lehigh players in double figures Sunday for a 95-70 win over Division III Eastern University.
Jordan Cohen's 3-pointer early in the opening half put Lehigh on top for good and sparked a 12-1 run that made it 22-11 with 12:27 left before halftime. Lehigh (3-1) led by double figures the rest of the way, taking a 45-29 advantage into the break and continued to pull away over the final 20 minutes.
Cohen and Pat Andree added 14 points for Lehigh, Kyle Leufroy 12, Caleb Bennett 11 and Lance Tejada 10. The Mountain Hawks got 21 assists on their 34 field goals with 53.1 percent shooting. Kahon Ross had eight assists.
Darius Washington led Eastern with 22 points and Gabe Perez and Victor Pena added 13 points apiece.
