Holden has 20 points to lead CSU Bakersfield to 86-65 win

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Rickey Holden had 20 points with nine assists and Taze Moore added 14 points with three blocks as CSU Bakersfield dominated the second half to beat Lamar 86-65 for its third straight win on Thursday night.

Damiyne Durham, who finished with 15 points, nailed three treys to total 280 to set a school career record. Kenny Warren (1990-94) set the previous record. Justin Elder-Davis chipped in 11 points.

The Roadrunners (6-4) closed the first half on a 9-2 run to lead 30-29 at the break. Elder-Davis opened the second half with a layup that started CSU Bakersfield on a 21-8 run to led 51-37 midway in the second period.

Josh Nzeaskor had 26 points and T.J. Atwood added 16 for Lamar (4-6), which finished 1-4 on its five-game road swing. The Cardinals return home to host Texas Southern Wednesday.
